Can I buy an Aeroexpress ticket beforehand at the company's ticket offices? Is it necessary? Will there by vacant seats?
You can buy an Aeroexpress ticket at our ticket offices beforehand 1 to 15 days before the departure time. In order to buy a ticket, you should tell the ticket clerk the date of the scheduled journey which will then be written in your ticket. Tickets are sold without seats (except Business Class tickets), so we recommend that passengers arrive at the point of departure 10 – 15 minutes before the departure time and allow a little extra time for their journey to the airport. The tickets issued in advance may not be returned or reissued.
Can I buy an Aeroexpress ticket on the Internet?
Aeroexpress launched a charge-free e-ticket service on the company's web-site: www.aeroexpress.ru on February 2010 for the convenience of our passengers. You can buy an e-ticket in advance using a special “Buy Ticket Online” form. E-tickets are sold commission-free for all the lines between Moscow and the capital’s airports.
Does the rail ticket have a seat?
On February 9, 2010, we launched Business Class coaches as part of Aeroexpresses on the Moscow – Sheremetyevo Airport line with higher level of comfort and extra services distinguishing them from the conventional ones. Unlike in a conventional coach, in the Business Class passengers get a guaranteed seat.
Can I check in myself and my baggage at the Aeroexpress terminal at Belorussky Railway Station?
Passengers who are flying with domestic airlines from Sheremetyevo International Airport can check in themselves and their baggage at the Aeroexpress terminal at Belorussky Railway Station. Check-in opens 15 hours and closes 3 hours 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Check-in desks are located inside the terminal. Passport and baggage check-in services (except extra baggage) are free of charge. The working hours are from 07.00 a.m. till 09.30 p.m. every day.
Can I check in at Kievsky and Paveletsky Railway Stations?
Passport and baggage check-ins at Kievsky Railway Station for both domestic and international flights close 15 minutes before the so cold “Ultimate Train” leaves the station. Ultimate Train means an electric train which leaves Kievsky Railway Station no later than 3 hours before the scheduled departure time of your flight. Why is there a two-hour interruption in the Aeroexpress service between Moscow and Sheremetyevo Airport?
A maintenance break takes place every day on the entire Moscow Railroad (from 11.00 a.m. till 01.00 p.m.), it is intended for scheduled track inspections: repairs, upkeep, power supply, communications etc.
Can a Muscovite’s Social Card be used for free travel by Aeroexpresses?
Muscovites are entitled to a free single-journey Aeroexpress ticket against a Muscovite’s Social Card. Special-rate tickets are sold against supporting documents to their holders. Single-journey tickets are issued only on the day of the journey.
