Which airports do Aeroexpress trains travel to?

Aeroexpress provides intermodal passenger transportation services between the capital and all major Moscow airports – Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo.

How much time does it take if to travel by the electric train?

It takes you 35 minutes to get to the Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo airports by Aeroexpress comfortable high-speed trains, and 40-45 minutes to get to Domodedovo airport.

How frequently do the express trains go? Where can I find the schedule?

LLC Aeroexpress together with the Moscow railway service has developed the high-frequency schedule of the trains, which you can find by sending a special SMS to the short number 3115, as well as at the company's site www.aeroexpress.ru or by helpline: 8-800-700-33-77 (calls within Russia are free).

Can I purchase a ticket for the Aeroexpress train in advance, at the book offices of the company? Is it necessary and will there be vacant seats?

It is possible to buy a single one-way Aeroexpress ticket 1 to 15 days before the date of departure. Inform the ticket clerk of your planned date of travel, and you will be issued a ticket with the required date in it.

The tickets are sold without the numeration of the seats (except the tickets of the business-class wagons), that’s why we recommend the passengers to come to the station 10-15 minutes before the departure and consider that the travel may last a bit longer.

The tickets purchased in advance can’t be returned or changed.

Can I purchase a ticket for the Aeroexpress train via Internet?

Since February 2010 a special service has been launched. With it the Aeroexpress passengers will be able to purchase tickets via Internet web-site. To purchase such “electronic ticket” is possible in advance with using a special form “Purchase ticket online”. The tickets on this site are sold without any fee and to all the directions between Moscow and the airports.

How can I walk through the ticket barriers in the airport if I have Aeroexpress electronic ticket?

Going from Moscow to the airport, a passenger shows the electronic ticket to the mobile booking clerks during the travel (printed or from his mobile phone) for its re-execution for the travel ticket with a bar code, that will allow to walk through the ticket barriers in the airport. If the passenger goes from the airport to Moscow, then he/she is passed through the gates near the ticket barrier point by showing the electronic ticket to the security guard.

Is the number of seat indicated in the ticket?

Since February 2010 between Moscow and the Sheremetyevo airport the business-class wagons are included in the Aeroexpress electric trains; these wagons differ from the usual ones, because they are of higher comfort and include additional services. The passengers get the number of their seat if they choose these wagons.

Is it possible to register and check in the luggage in the Aeroexpress terminal at the Belorussky station?

Since December 1, 2010 the service of registration of the airline passengers with luggage in the terminal at the Belorussky station has been cancelled. The check-in of the passengers having a carry on is available though CUSS Kiosks, which are placed instead of the previous check-in counters in the terminal. The passengers can put their luggage on the special racks that are placed in each Aeroexpress wagon.

Is it possible to register at the Kievsky and Paveletsky stations?

The check-in service at Kievsky Rail Terminal has been cancelled from 1 February 2011 onwards.

The check-in service at Paveletsky Rail Terminal has been cancelled from 15 September 2011 onwards.

Passengers can check-in at the airports.

Is the Muskovite’s social card valid for the free travel in the Aeroexpress trains?

The citizens of Moscow have right to get a one time free ticket for travel in the Aeroexpress trains using the Muskovite's social card. The low fare tickets are sold if the person has shown the document of identification. The one-time tickets are given only on the day of the travel.
