Passengers will be admitted to the coach only provided they have the corresponding ticket. Unlike an ordinary ticket, the business class one has a seat number (there are 24 seats in the coach).
The business class tickets will be available in January 2010 at Aeroexpress ticket offices at the Belorussky Railway Station and Sheremetyevo Airport. The one-way ticket will cost 700 roubles (full ticket) with the kid’s ticket costing 350 roubles. The tickets can be paid for in cash and by credit card. They will be also available for booking 15 days before the departure date via the Aeroexpress hotline number: 8-800-700-33-77 (free in Russia). If a passenger misses his/her train the ticket can be re-registered for another train provided there are seats left in the coach.
“We are introducing the business service to meet the potential demand from Russian and foreign business passengers. According to the marketing research data, around 20% of Aeroexpress passengers are top managers or business owners preferring advanced service level like that provided by airlines”, said Michail Kowalski, the LLC Aeroexpress commercial director. He also said: “We are planning to launch business class coaches on the other lines in the future”.
