Aeroexpress makes concession to passengers whose flights have been cancelled due to the volcano eruption

Apr 16, 2010

Passengers who booked e-tickets on the Aeroexpress web-site and did not use the rail service due to cancelled or postponed flights will be entitled to rebook a ticket within one week from the current date with an option to adjust their departure time as soon as they have their new flight time confirmed.

Aeroexpress makes temporary changes in its ticket issuance rules in view of multiple requests coming from passengers after North European airspace was closed due to the volcano eruption in Iceland.

To rebook an e-ticket a passenger needs to call LLC Aeroexpress’ technical support service at the hotline number 8-800-700-33-77 (toll-free from anywhere in Russia), tell the e-ticket number, departure date, mobile number or email address. A new bar code or itinerary receipt allowing to take a train will be forwarded to the specified mobile phone or email.

Let us remind that travelling by Aeroexpresses is only permitted if you show an itinerary receipt or bar code on the screen of your mobile phone to the ticket inspector on the train.
