Other Aeroexpress top managers were also acknowledged in the Transport professional category as follows: Roman Guda, Chief Financial Officer (ranked in 3rd place in the 2013 Financial Directors rating); Rustam Akiniyazov, Chief Commercial Officer (ranked in 1st place in the 2013 Commercial Directors rating); Vadim Semikin, Director of Public Relations (ranked in 5th place in the 2013 Directors of Public and Corporate Affairs rating; and Andrey Koshkin, Chief Corporate and Legal Officer (ranked in 9th place in the 2013 Corporate Management Directors rating).

The Association of Managers ‘TOP-1000 Russian Managers’ rating is a tool for the objective assessment of the professional reputation of Russia’s leading top managers. The rating reveals the most professional managers, who have been leaders in their industries and areas of expertise for the past year.

The ranking implies a simple and transparent methodology. It is based on ‘the best chooses the best’ principle: top managers are ranked by top managers, and operational executives are ranked by operational executives, which ensures an objective assessment of a manager’s professional reputation.

The first stage of the survey determines the pool of candidates from among last year’s winners. Each member included in the initial list of candidates is given the opportunity to nominate members of his/her management team, and up to 10 more new managers from the associated industry, who would be appropriate to add to the overall list of candidates. Expert polling is carried out by ranking according to the proposed criteria: the manager’s professional qualities are estimated, rather than those of the company itself. A manager’s competence is determined in accordance with an integrated assessment, which includes both individual characteristics and the performance parameters of business administration.
