Aeroexpress and RING to Open up New Vistas for Online Services Development

Dec 7, 2010

Aeroexpress, a company delivering passengers to Moscow airports, along with CJSC RING, a developer of the system of online air ticket reservation "SelfBooking", offer agents a new convenient tool to sell electronic aeroexpress tickets: the "e-express" software module.

Now all the companies interested will be able to place on their websites a ready and easy-to-integrate "e-express" module containing a form for selling tickets for Aeroexpress high-speed electric trains. In order to do so they will need to make an agreement with RING.

Companies which already are working with RING and using the "SelfBooking" system will get free access to the "e-express" aeroexpress electronic ticketing service.

The new "e-express" online service allows user agencies to extend the package of tourist services for their customers completely computerizing the process of transportation reservation and documentation (without participation of the operator). Processing an aeroexpress ticket a customer inputs all the necessary parameters via the order form on the website on their own: the date, direction, travel class, number of tickets, and pays for the order. Once the payment is made an electronic ticket is generated which will automatically be sent to the customers email and phone number indicated. The cost of a ticket for a usual Aeroexpress electric train car is 300 rubles, and for a business class car it amount 500 rubles.

The modern "SelfBooking" software complex is now being used by over 30 tourist agencies and airlines in Russia and in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States as a universal tool for their websites. The "SelfBooking" system provides website visitors with up-to-date information about domestic and international flights, rates, availability of seats, as well as with a possibility to reserve and buy air tickets.
