Almost 837,000 users have downloaded the Aeroexpress mobile app between January 1, 2013 and March 31, 2016. The app is most popular among owners of Apple devices. Aeroexpress recorded 485,000 installations via AppStore. The app was downloaded 275,000 times through Google Play. About 77,000 users, who opted for the Windows Phone operating system, have the Aeroexpress app on their phones and tablets.
An estimated 411 Apple users, 231 Android owners, and 77 Windows Phone holders download the app every day. Despite impressive AppStore results, Androids claim the record number of downloads per day, with 5,699 people having installed the Aeroexpress app on their devices in one day on December 12, 2013.
“As of today, we can say that the Aeroexpress app is one of the most popular transport apps in Moscow,” says Rustam Akiniazov, Chief Financial Officer of Aeroexpress. “We hope the number of downloads will grow because users of our app can now participate in the Aeroexpress Bonus loyalty programme and purchase a ticket for just one rouble.”

The Aeroexpress app was launched in 2013. Passengers can use it to buy tickets at a 10% discount, view train timetables, and check the status of flights. Starting from 2016, app users have become members of the Aeroexpress Bonus programme, which encourages passenger loyalty. In 2014, the Aeroexpress app was presented with an award at the Digital Communication AWARDS.
