In just six months, loyalty programme members purchased over 72,000 tickets. In this period, 3,000 tickets were sold at a 50% discount, while the cost of 3,500 tickets was just one rouble.
The Aeroexpress Bonus loyalty programme allows passengers to collect bonus points for their journeys and purchase tickets at discounted prices. Programme members receive 50 points for a standard one-way trip and 100 points for a business class or return travel. Upon collecting 200 bonus points, a passenger can get a 50% discount when buying the next standard fare ticket. If the account balance is 450 points, the journey will cost one rouble. To obtain a 50% discount on a business class ticket, a traveller needs to have 400 bonus points. To buy a ticket for one rouble, 900 points are necessary.
“In the short term, we plan to expand the Aeroexpress Bonus programme beyond e-commerce and make it available for all our passengers,” says Alexey Sorokin, Chief Operating Officer of Aeroexpress. “We expect to significantly increase the number of programme members and expand its availability by introducing new attractive bonuses and developing various partner programmes.”
It is worth noting that, as of today, any Aeroexpress passenger purchasing tickets either through the company’s website at www.aeroexpress.ru or via the free mobile app can join the loyalty programme.
