Between February 23 and February 26, Aeroexpress recorded an increase in the number of passengers, which is 52% higher compared to the same period during February holidays last year. A total of 84,625 travellers used the express carrier’s services during these days.
“We forecasted a passenger flow increase during the holidays since many Russians used the weekend, which was longer this year due to the occurrence of Defender’s Day, to take a journey,” says Valery Fyodorov, COO of Aeroexpress. “The accuracy of Aeroexpress train services is currently at almost 100% and we are pleased that passengers still prefer to not risk being late for their flight and that they are choosing the one and only guaranteed way to get to the airport on time.”
It is noteworthy that all Aeroexpress trains ran according to the timetable without any overloads and delays.
