Between June 16 and 21, as part of the Confederations Cup, Aeroexpress transported 1,397 fans and 2,841 volunteers from Moscow airports. The Sheremetyevo-Belorussky route was the most in-demand by the Cup's guests.
Attendees of this sporting competition can obtain free tickets to travel on Aeroexpress trains (for not more than two trips) two days before the date specified on the Moscow match ticket, on the day of a game, and two days after the event. Campaign tickets are only available at the company’s ticket offices.
For passengers’ convenience, information regarding free Aeroexpress travel for Confederations Cup volunteers and fans will be provided at the carrier’s information counters and also via a hotline in Russian and English. Besides, special screens with the similar information in Russian and English have been installed at all of the Aeroexpress terminals at Moscow airports.
During the days of the tournament, additional night trains running to Moscow rail terminals and airports have been arranged.
The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup is a football tournament among national teams and is held in Russia between June 17 and July 2.
