The largest number of trips taken was recorded before the Russia-Portugal matches on June 21 (975 rides) and June 22 (859 rides). The Sheremetyevo-Belorussky and Domodedovo-Paveletsky routes were the most in-demand by the Cup's guests.
During the football tournament, attendees of this sporting competition, arriving to Moscow matches, could obtain free tickets to travel on Aeroexpress trains (for not more than two trips) two days before the date specified on the Moscow match ticket, on the day of a game, and two days after the event. In addition, free travel benefits were also available to volunteers and accredited participants of the tournament.
For passengers’ convenience, additional night trains running to Moscow rail terminals and airports have been arranged during the days of the Cup. More Aeroexpress ticket offices were also operating in order to meet the demands of the increased passenger flow.
