Aeroexpress Cancels Additional Fees for Pets and Bikes

From now on, it shall be free of charge to carry pets and bikes aboard Aeroexpress trains. Previously, according to the Conditions of Rail Carriage for Passengers, Baggage, and Cargo Luggage, pets could travel for a fee of 100 RUB, while the fee for one unfolded bike was 50 RUB. 
“Our passengers’ comfort is our priority. We have simplified Aeroexpress’ conditions of carriage. Thus, passengers travelling with their pets and bikes do not need to pay any extra fee for their carriage,” said Valery Fyodorov, COO of Aeroexpress.
It is noteworthy that bikes can only be transported in a train vestibule. Small pets can be carried in special containers and placed in hand luggage compartments. Large dogs must be conveyed in a train vestibule and kept on leads by their owners, who are liable for compliance with the train sanitation rules.
