Aeroexpress Getting Ready for Summer Season

Apr 19, 2018

The company’s specialists will carry out a comprehensive examination of Aeroexpress’ rolling stock and infrastructure.

To get ready for the summer season, Aeroexpress will check and analyse the operation of all equipment aboard each vehicle and will carry out vibration diagnostics and instrumental measurements of mechanical indicators. Electric current collectors will be adjusted to comply with summer standards. A specially-assigned commission will check the performance of the microclimate-supporting equipment installed aboard the trains.

In addition, company’s representatives will also inspect its rail terminals and its depot, where specialists will adjust the air conditioning and ventilation systems in order to ensure comfortable conditions for its passengers.

“All operational personnel of the Aeroexpress depot, which virtually comprises 120 people, will take part in the assessment. They are going to examine all rolling stock, which consists of 18 trains, and check the readiness of trains to transport an increased number of passengers during the summer season,” said Aeroexpress’ COO Valery Fyodorov.

It is noteworthy that Aeroexpress is the first private company providing railway passenger transportation services between Moscow and its airports, and also independently maintaining its own rolling stock.

Due to the change in seasons, Aeroexpress employees will wear their summer uniforms.
