Aeroexpress Supports All-Russian Campaign ‘Cycle to Work’

The company’s office is located at Sheremetyevo Airport, which is why most employees usually travel to the Belorussky Rail Terminal by personal or public transport and then transfer to Aeroexpress to travel to work. As part of the campaign, they instead are travelling to the rail terminal by bike, seamlessly commuting with these bikes to the office and back to the city.

In April, Aeroexpress cancelled its fee for transporting bikes. Previously, according to the Conditions of Rail Carriage for Passengers, Baggage, and Cargo Luggage, the cost per unfolding bike was 50 roubles.

“We are really pleased to join this campaign. Firstly, cycling is good for your health. Secondly, the bike is a sustainable means of transport, just like Aeroexpress. We are calling upon our colleagues and partners to also join this very necessary initiative,” - said Valery Fyodorov, COO of Aeroexpress.

The campaign is being run in Moscow between 14 and 27 May by the Let's bike it! cycling culture development project with support from Moscow’s Department of Transport.
