New Banknotes Being Accepted by Aeroexpress TVMs

Aeroexpress has finished upgrading its ticket vending machines so that they accept 200- and 2000-rouble banknotes. The new software, which recognizes the notes, has been installed on all payment terminals.

“We continuously work to improve our sales channels in order to provide our passengers every possible way to conveniently purchase train tickets. According to the statistics, virtually 40% of our customers buy tickets from ticket vending machines. It is essential for Aeroexpress to ensure that all rouble banknotes are accepted by its terminals,”, - said Aeroexpress’ COO Valery Fyodorov.

Recall that Aeroexpress tickets are sold at ticket offices and TVMs and via the website and mobile app. In addition, a contactless payment option is available at the turnstiles.
