Kazan Residents to Be Able to Purchase Tickets for Moscow Aeroexpress at Their Airport

Jun 25, 2018

Tickets to travel with Aeroexpress in Moscow are now available for purchase at the Kazan Airport.

On 25 June, the company’s representatives begin working at the airport of Tatarstan’s capital. Passengers heading to Moscow will be able to buy Aeroexpress tickets directly on site before boarding their flight. The available fares include Standard, Federal, and Federal Family&Friends.

“Travelers from Kazan account for a significant part of the total number of passengers on domestic flights to Moscow airports. Taking this into consideration, the company decided to introduce Aeroexpress ticket sales right at the airport of their departure. This will enable passengers to save time compared to purchasing tickets upon their arrival,” stated Mikhail Kovalsky, Acting CEO of Aeroexpress.

The Federal and Federal Family&Friends fares were introduced in April 2018. Tickets can be used to take two rides (from the airport to the city and back again) for a period of 30 days of the purchase date. They can both be purchased at an advantageous price. A one-way Federal ticket costs 425 roubles per passenger, while one ride with a Federal Friends&Family ticket costs 250 roubles. In Kazan, these fares are also called Kazanets (meaning a resident of Kazan) and Three Kazanets.
