Aeroexpress Names Its New CEO

Alina Bisembaeva previously served as Deputy Head of Moscow’s Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, where she successfully implemented a number of projects aimed at developing pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure, car sharing and public transport services, the design and introduction of the Moscow Transport brand, the industrial design of transport infrastructure facilities, the development of fare and ticket solutions (Troika card development), and also implementation of several freight logistics initiatives.

Before employment with the Moscow Administration, Alina Bisembaeva worked in the financial sector. Between 2004 and 2013, she held the positions of Vice President at VTB Bank, Director of the Strategy and Business Development Department at Barclays Bank, and Senior Vice President at Homos Bank. Earlier in her professional career, Mrs Bisembaeva worked at Procter & Gamble and McKinsey & Company.

“I am happy to be joining the Aeroexpress team. This company is a unique Russian entity and an essential part of Moscow’s transport complex. As the city transport infrastructure develops, Aeroexpress faces a challenge to be an efficient competitor in the passenger transportation sector. This is a new professional challenge for me and I take it on with great enthusiasm,” said CEO of Aeroexpress Alina Bisembaeva.

Before the appointment, Mrs Bisembaeva had passed all necessary interviews, personal checks, and agreements. She assumes this position from Alexey Krivoruchko, who resigned in May 2018 to take public office. Mr Krivoruchko had managed Aeroexpress since 2010.
