900,000 Passengers Used Aeroexpress Services in March

Sheremetyevo route appeared to be the one most in-demand, where the passenger traffic increased by 13% and made over 400,000 passengers. Nearly 200,000 and 300,000 people were transported on Vnukovo and Domodedovo routes respectively.

It is noteworthy, that approximately 30,000 passengers used Aeroexpress interim stops at Okruzhnaya and Verhniye Kotly in March. The introduction of these two stops enabled the company to firmly integrate its express trains into the transport system of Moscow. From the Okruzhnaya and Verhniye Kotly interim stops, travellers can quickly change to MCC, metro and other routes of public transport, as well as continue their trip by commuter trains.

Last year, the Moscow Administration offered Aeroexpress to consider the possibility of introducing an interim stop at the Okruzhnaya platform in order to provide more convenience for passengers. Thus, the first interim stop at Okruzhnaya was put into service in September 2018. In December, the Aeroexpress trains started making a stop at the Verhniye Kotly platform on Domodedovo route.
