Over 450,000 Passengers Travel with Aeroexpress During May Holidays

Sheremetyevo route appeared to be the one most in demand before and during the May holidays. Nearly 200,000 travellers took this route, which is 20% higher compared to the same period in 2018. Domodedovo route goes second, with over 160,000 transported passengers. This figure is 10% higher than last year. Vnukovo route showed a 14% increase, with the passenger traffic totalling virtually 100,000 people.

“During holidays, all Aeroexpress services, including sales channels, operated as usual,” said Alina Bisembaeva, CEO of Aeroexpress. “Special attention was paid to the safety and security measures at our facilities. Moreover, we had previously forecasted a total increase in the passenger demand by at least 10% and added carriages to our trains where it was necessary in order to ensure passengers’ comfort.”

On 5–10 May, as is a tradition, Aeroexpress provided free rides in business class carriages to veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Over 130 veterans used the company’s services during these days. Aeroexpress attendants gave them presents and flowers when issuing tickets.
