The First Experimental Sleepbox Unit

The first experimental Sleepbox unit is now installed in the Aeroexpress Terminal at Sheremetyevo International Airport. Sleepbox is a capsular mini hotel, designed by Russia’s Arch Group Architectural Bureau.

Aeroexpress, as well as constantly widening the range of services it offers to customers, also strives to improve service quality. The company always supports innovative developments which have prospects for practical application. In this spirit, Aeroexpress has agreed to the installation and demonstration of the first Sleepbox units in the passenger waiting area, located on the second floor of the terminal.

The unit on display is a two-bed Sleepbox, equipped with a ventilation system and power sockets for charging laptops and mobile phones. There are nightstands and fold-down tables by each bunk and luggage space under the lower bunk. Alongside general lighting, the Sleepbox is equipped with built-in individual reading lamps. The windows are covered with powered roller blinds that allow for a temporary private area. The double box’s dimensions are 2.5 х 1.6 х 3.0 m.
